Rockette Invitational

THE ROCKETTE INVITATIONAL WILL BE ON FEBRUARY 22 @ 6:30 pm. The cost of admission is $5 adults, $3 students. Children 5 and under FREE. ALL ROCKETTES MUST BE IN THE BIG GYM AFTER SCHOOL (3:15) TO SET UP. YOU WILL NOT HAVE TIME TO GO HOME AND GET READY, SO HAVE ALL YOUR COSTUMES, ETC, WITH YOU AT THE SCHOOL!

 Each Rockette must sell 125 raffle tickets for $1 a ticket, as well as get 2 sponsor gifts. You need to make a poster for EACH of your sponsors, on a WHITE poster board, with JUST their company name on it. The raffle tickets are for 3 grand prize drawings-- A $50 visa gift card, a $100 visa gift card, and $250 in Groceries. They do not have to be present to win these prizes.
Each ticket must have first & last name, and phone number on them. 

The sponsor gifts are given away throughout the invitational. Please make sure the gifts say where they are from somewhere on them so those companies can be recognized. When you get your sponsors, make sure to let me know who you have !

Each Rockette must make an “About Me” poster on a white poster board. You can decorate it however you want, but make sure it has your name, class, and your office on Rockettes. You can add whatever pictures/quotes that you would like.

**SENIORS**  you all need to bring things that you would like to display on the senior table. Make sure to have your paragraphs you want read, typed up and given to me ASAP.

Sponsor gifts/posters/money & packets are DUE on TUESDAY, February 20th. NO EXCEPTIONS.

After State there will only be practice on Tuesday & Thursday mornings. **Seniors on Wednesdays**

To school: Best Dress (Purple, Black, and White)
Roll call on the bus at 12:15 pm- COMPLETELY READY.
Purple zip up, Name leggings, nikes. If needed, you can have your make up done on the bus. I will excuse you a little early so you can get your hair and make up done before roll call.
Semi Finals begin at 4:00 pm
We are pod #4

The top 2 teams from our pod will advance to Finals on Saturday.

SATURDAY:
Purple Zip Up, Mountain Shirt, Name leggings, Nikes
Roll call on bus at 1:15 pm- COMPLETLEY READY! Same thing- you can have your make up done on the bus.
Finals begin at 5:00 pm.

Bring healthy drinks and snacks- there is also concessions there that you can buy on both days.

REGION!!

January 15 (MLK DAY)- Region Practice
Roll call on bus 10:00 am. We will be going to eat as a team after, so make sure to bring money with you! We should be back between 2-3 pm.
Wear: zip up, purple practice top, bee leggings, nikes. Bring your dance shoes & hair pulled back tight!


January 18- REGION!!!!
Roll call 2:15 pm on bus- wear mountain shirt, name leggings, nikes. Make sure you have everything packed with you!

Doors open at 5:00 pm. Competition starts at 6:00 pm.

*Make sure to spread the word that tickets are for sale in the office! Get as many people to come in PURPLE and cheer so loud!!

Bountiful Invitational

January 12 & 13, 2018
Bountiful High School

We will be sleeping over at this competition and will be leaving on Friday the 12th. Roll call on bus at 3:00 pm. If you need the name of the hotel, text me and i will let you know.To school: Gray top with bee leggings and nikes. You can wear your purple zip up as well.

**Make sure you have all of your sleeping stuff and costumes packed and brought with you**

Solos: 
4:30-5:30: Check in (in the school) 
5:30- 7:30: Competition

Solos will be going in two different gyms to make them go faster- ours will all be in the small gym, INSIDE the high school. Not the separate building.

**Please Remember these times are ESTIMATES. If they get ahead of schedule, the will stay ahead. Teams could be performing as early as 30 minutes prior to specified times**

  • Please inform parents to bring cash as we are not able to take Credit Cards.  The closest ATM is 2-3 blocks away, so it's best if they come with cash.
  • We love your parents to get as much sleep as possible!  Although we love the die hard supportive parents, Bountiful city does not want anyone camping out over night.  We welcome anyone who would like to come at 5:00am or after (More energy for cheering)!
  • The competition may run ahead of schedule. Please advise parents the competition may run as much as 30 minutes ahead of time.
