First off .. Several accounts are still behind. Please do what you can to communicate and get those caught up.

*As soon as I have competition information for the weekend, I will get it posted. Plan on an 8 AM start time at Wasatch High School.
* Plan on the bus leaving at noon on Friday to head to Park City. If that changes, I will let you know.

Freshman: 2 - 2 Liters of drinks each
Sophomores: Soup (1 pot each)
Juniors: Salads ( jello salads, etc - 1 each)
Seniors: chips/dips, cups, utensils, etc. We will sit down and make those assignments.

Reminder !! All past laps need to be run before Friday. I will let those of you know a closet clean up date, that need to know - as soon as I can !

We would like to congratulate Ellie Hadfield and Lauren Cardon for being selected as 2 of the 20 4A dancers selected to the All-State Team. Congrats Ladies ! πŸ‘ and a special call back to Kalee for making call backs ! Proud of you all πŸ’œ

Lunches for Comp !

I have bought and paid for the lunches through all of the competitions with our registrations. So.. Parents, you will not need to worry about lunches.

You will want to pack other snacks, etc. that you would like to have individually.

• Please make sure your dues are caught up through November.
• If you are an Officer in the Officer Routine, your costume is $25.00.
• Sweatshirts for hip hop are $25.00.

Competition Dates and Locations

There will be 4 competitions with $25 hotel fees, so plan head.

•December 4 & 5 - Wasatch Drill Invitational @ Wasatch High School in Heber.
-If you are doing a solo and want to compete it at the competition - Register at: wasatchinvitational.wix.com/wasatch-invitational

•December 11 & 12 - Salt Lake Valley Classic @ Juan Diego High School in Draper.

•January 8 & 9 - Falcon Classic @Clearfield High School in Clearfield.
-I will let you know registration at a later date.

•Region:
There will be a region practice at Bountiful High School on Monday January 18th.
This is the Martin Luther King Day Holiday.

Region Comp is Thursday January 21 @ Bountiful High School.

•State: UVU
State is different this year, so there are some details to work out.
Top 4 from Region compete at State.
There is a first round of State competition on February 4th
and then the top 9 of the qualifying teams compete on February 6th.

Information for y'all πŸ’›

Okay... We are no longer getting a team dress. The ones we were trying to get did not work out. Our last 2 shirts will be done and I will have them at Saturday practice. The $25.00 you paid for the white top had been applied to the balance of these 2 shirts instead of the dress. If you paid the full $25.00 at Peach Days, you only owe a balance of $20.00 to BEHS. If you didn't pay the $25.00, or maybe only paid $20.00, then surtact what you paid from $45.00. Thanks !!

Please try and get your accounts current. We are heading into competition season and need funds caught up.
Also - October dues are coming up !!
-if you haven't paid the $75.00 costume fee - it was due in July and is due BY October.
-the $50.00 comp fee is also due in October.

WARM UPS: we have decided not to get warm ups in order to keep costs down.
Since we didn't get a team dress, we will just be getting one more team sweatshirt/jacket to wear with our black leggings and joggers.  We will let you know the cost ASAP.

*Cowdung packets are due Friday morning the 9th of October and the contest is after school Tuesday the 13th at Dana Yeates in place of practice.

Our meeting station is W-5 at Napa Auto Parts.

Our check in number is 33 I.

They would like us to enter from 500 South.

The check in time for our Semi to be in place is 8:30 AM.
(Cabela.. Please let the semi know this info)

Our team roll call time is 9:00 AM sharp.

•You will wear black tights, black team leggings, no underwear, black dance shoes,
New White top, Black team bra.

•Hair will be like Hello Assembly and slicked on top of your head in a messy bun.

Remember no jewelry or fingernail polish.

***Everyone needs to decorate their own WHITE poster with:
Their name, class, and office on it.

And we're off !

We have been doing a lot of communicating via text because my computer has been down. Please make sure that the athletes and parents are communicating to avoid confusion. A lot of information will go through text.

We are off to an amazing start ! Congrats on 2 beautiful performances last Friday ! Next up Peach Days ! Info out soon.

We will be getting Cow Dung packets out soon ! Hooray ! This is our biggest support of getting us through our wild competition season.

Your athletic fee and physical should be all taken care of through Kim Petersen by now.

Now due:
$15. Sept. Dues
$25. White Performance Top

Past due:
$75. Costume Fee (will go towards our character routine that all team members participate in)
$50. Summer Fee
Any past dues or clothing that haven't been paid.

Coming Up:
$50. Competition Fee (applied to help pay for team competition fees)
$50. Lyrical Costume Fee (only if you are in the routine)
$.... We will be getting 2 more team shirts & a team dress this month. During the winter months, we wear our clothes several times a week and at competitions.

New Team Members:
If you refer to your list of fees from tryouts - only new team members need warm ups this year. They are $85.00. You can pay that all at once or make payments. We will be getting them by November, so heads up !

Make sure you keep your tights and shoes performance ready !

ATTENTION:
We will be starting 5 hour Saturday practices after Peach Days !

We will not have a practice on the day of the Homecoming dance (if they move it to the 10th)
And we will only go until 10 on conference Saturday.

We will not practice over fall break !

Audition Results !

Dear Team !

We know this is a tough time of year - auditioning competition routines.
Please remember that we really do try to make the best decisions possible to benefit the team as whole. Also - please remember, as explained at the meeting before auditioning for the team, that coaches do not take calls, texts, or emails, etc. regarding audition results. As coaches, we will communicate directly with the athlete on what needs to be focused on. We want each and every athlete to reach their potential and see personal growth as well as team growth.

At this point we are planning on having the whole team compete in the character and hip hop routines - so that the whole team will compete together at Region and State. If that changes, we will let you know.

Performance Change ✨

We will not be performing at half time on 9/17 of 9/18 for the highland game. The school has a sponsor half time scheduled that night. Thanks !

•Bring your $15.00 July dues (and any other past months dues you owe) and $50.00 Summer Fee tomorrow the 15th or Friday the 17th. Checks to BEHS.
[the $75.00 costume fee will be due in August instead of July like the paper from tryouts says]

•July 15 (tomorrow), 17, and 22nd practice will be at the Nat instead of Mt. View !

•There will be no practice on Tuesday July 21.

•If you are missing practices (and there are lots of you) you need to have all choreography missed on your own time outside of practice.
Also.. Both coaches and the secretary must be informed. No exceptions.

•FUTURE ROCKETTES - the evenings of August 11, 12, and 13.
Each Rockette is responsible for signing up 5 Future Rockettes ! (Start lining them up now)

•Rockette Car Wash at Bay Wash - Saturday August 15.
We will be selling tickets and have assigned shifts.

Clothing !

The total I was given was $230.00.
Chelsea figured that total without the costs of the black leggings (which I have now) and screen printing on sleeveless shirts. So... Please bring an additional $20.00 on Tuesday to practice. Checks made to Uniformity. Thank You !
ALSO ! If you still owe $15.00 May or June dues, bring checks for those as well. Those checks are written to BEHS.

Clothes, etc.

The biggest cost for Rockettes is right at the begining (Paying for camp for those of you going) and getting enough of our stuff to be ready for camp. I'm going to try and spread some of the cost for clothes, etc. over the summer. Plan on a couple hundred dollars before camp. I am trying to cut costs in practice clothes where ever I can so that more of the money is for the stuff they wear outside of practice - to camp, school, games, and comps ! Thanks.

Camp Balance

The total for camp per girl is $275.00. Subtract what ever you have paid and that will be your balance due. Most of you have paid $100.00 - so you owe $175. A few a you paid more than the deposit. Your balance is due by our last practice in May :) Thanks !

a little more info :)

• We will not have practice on Monday the 25th because of  Memorial Day :) BUT
we do have the pickle ball fundraiser that day !

•LAST year team members !! Costume turn in day and locker room clean out day is Tuesday May 26th. NO exceptions. Starting at 3:15 P. M.  Please remember. All costumes must be hand washed in cold - in Woolite - inside out. ANY holes or repairs that need to be done, must be taken care of. Thanks !

• No practice Friday July 24th. We will be off until August 3rd.

• If you are in lyrical - I will let you know the cost of your costume ASAP.

• 1st payment for clothing will be due the first practice of June. We need a chunk of our stuff to be ready for camp.

• We are getting the same shoes and tights as last year. Everyone is responsible for their own and it will all be posted shortly. The only dance shoes you need for camp will be the foot thongs.

• Each team member will also need black and white high top converse. Same as past year also :)

• Please remember that attending camp was an optional choice.

Each Rockette has received a detailed text with a lot of important information
Pertaining to practices, locations, half times, etc. I won't be reposting that.

Bountiful Invitational - Bountiful High School

Friday -
The team will practice after school until 5:00 and then catch the bus at 5:30
And head down and attend some of the solo competition.

Solos begin at 6:00 P. M. And they are running them in 2 seperate gyms.

Saturday-
The competition starts at 8:00 A.M.
Doors open at 7:00 A.M.

We are #2 on the floor with Hip Hop!
Approx. 10:45 for Military
Approx 2:00 for Dance
Approx 4:30 for Kick
