Moms Meeting
The last Moms Meeting for the year will be on Tuesday February 6, 2018 at 7:30 pm and the Jardine’s Home :)

Rockette Invitational
THE ROCKETTE INVITATIONAL WILL BE ON FEBRUARY 22 @ 6:30 pm. The cost of admission is $5 adults, $3 students. Children 5 and under FREE. ALL ROCKETTES MUST BE IN THE BIG GYM AFTER SCHOOL (3:15) TO SET UP. YOU WILL NOT HAVE TIME TO GO HOME AND GET READY, SO HAVE ALL YOUR COSTUMES, ETC, WITH YOU AT THE SCHOOL!
Each Rockette must sell 125 raffle tickets for $1 a ticket, as
well as get 2 sponsor gifts. You need to make a poster for EACH of your
sponsors, on a WHITE poster board, with JUST their company name on it. The
raffle tickets are for 3 grand prize drawings-- A $50 visa gift card, a $100 visa gift card, and $250 in Groceries.
They do not have to be present to win these prizes.
Each ticket must have first & last name, and
phone number on them.
The sponsor gifts are given away throughout the
invitational. Please make sure the gifts say where they are from somewhere on
them so those companies can be recognized. When you get your sponsors, make sure to let me know who you have !
Each Rockette must make an “About Me” poster on a white
poster board. You can decorate it however you want, but make sure it has your name, class, and your office on
Rockettes. You can add whatever pictures/quotes that you would like.
**SENIORS** you all need to bring things that you would like to
display on the senior table. Make sure to have your paragraphs you want read,
typed up and given to me ASAP.
Sponsor gifts/posters/money & packets are DUE on TUESDAY, February 20th.

January 15 (MLK DAY)- Region Practice
Roll call on bus 10:00 am. We will be going to eat as a team after, so make sure to bring money with you! We should be back between 2-3 pm.

January 18- REGION!!!!

- Please inform parents to bring cash as we are not able to take Credit Cards. The closest ATM is 2-3 blocks away, so it's best if they come with cash.
- We love your parents to get as much sleep as possible! Although we love the die hard supportive parents, Bountiful city does not want anyone camping out over night. We welcome anyone who would like to come at 5:00am or after (More energy for cheering)!
- The competition may run ahead of schedule. Please advise parents the competition may run as much as 30 minutes ahead of time.

**Top 5 scoring soloists from Friday will compete for overall winner at the end of Saturday's competition!**
Solo check-in at the entrance of the auditorium on the North West side of the school. It is in a separate
building from the school. Doors open to spectators at 4:30 pm and competition begins at 5:00 pm.

COMPETITIONS are just around the corner! PLEASE make sure to get your shoes and tights ordered. I put a link on the blog at the beginning of the year for both. SHOES/TIGHTS MUST NOT HAVE ANY HOLES OR RUNS FOR COMPETITIONS. Military & Character need the black tights and shoes. Dance will need the caramel tights and shoes.
It would also be smart to get a bra with CLEAR straps. That way you don't have to worry about pinning your straps.

COMPETITIONS are just around the corner! PLEASE make sure to get your shoes and tights ordered. I put a link on the blog at the beginning of the year for both. SHOES/TIGHTS MUST NOT HAVE ANY HOLES OR RUNS FOR COMPETITIONS. Military & Character need the black tights and shoes. Dance will need the caramel tights and shoes.
It would also be smart to get a bra with CLEAR straps. That way you don't have to worry about pinning your straps.

All State
Congrats to Lexie Smoot, Sadie Walker, and Aubree Mathews for being chosen to represent your team at All State.
All State is November 8th at Bountiful High School. We will be leaving the High School at 3:30 pm.
4:30 check in, 5 pm Warm up, 5:30 Start
Practice will be as usual for the rest of the team :)
Hair must be slicked back- however you would like.
MUST wear all black. Can not have any writing on it.
All State team will be announced that night and will be recognized at STATE FINALS.

Also remember tardies and demerits do not start over until 2nd trimester. If you reach 6- you WILL be pulled from a performance.

Cow Dung
Cow Dung will take place on October 6th at 3:15 pm (in place of practice) and will go until the cow poops. PACKETS AND MONEY ARE DUE OCTOBER 5th at after school practice. No exceptions. Demerits will be given for not completeling fundraisers.
Each ticket is $1. One ticket=one square on the grid. Make sure their name AND number are on your grid and EACH ticket.
Grand prize is $250. We will also put all your tickets together and pull out a winner for $50 gift card. The winners will be announced at the football game that night, they do NOT have to be present to win.
You are responsible for selling all of your tickets. Each Rockette must sell 120, but remember that fundraisers are to help keep costs down for YOUR parents.
PLEASE PARENTS do not buy your childs tickets.
***I know they aren't the funnest to sell- BUT- if girls sell all tickets without having their parents buy them, they will not have to sell raffle tickets at the Invitational. ***
