Reminder!!  You need to get Black and White Chuck Taylor High Top Converse for this routine!! ASAP.

Also...Make sure you have the correct bra (clear straps, clear back), shoes, tights, etc.  DO NOT wait until the very last minute to get on top of this stuff, or you will find yourself in a bind! Thanks! xo.

I will let you know soon the cost of the hip hop and lyrical tops!!  You will make checks for those items to UNIFORMITY.

We will be wearing our black team leggings for both of those routines.  If you need new ones of those, you will need to order those ASAP.

Oh...Hey There!!

Been a while since the blog has been updated!!  Lots of great things have happened.  Its been a busy and exciting month and we are so proud of this fantastic team so far this year!!  So many more great things to come.  Congrats to all of you on an amazing beginning of the year!!

Remember - Many of you still owe September dues - October dues and the $50.00 competition fee are due at the first of October.  There are also 2 more shirts that we will be getting and please continue to make payments on your warm ups if you need to :)

Mark you calendars for December 13 & 14. Salt Lake Valley Classic at Juan Diego High School.
We will be staying over for this competition, so there will be a $25.00 hotel fee!!

All athletes must be registered online...and our team must be registered BEFORE next Friday September 6.

Go to the Box Elder High School website and click on the Athletic bar.  When you click on it, a  bar will come up that says 'Register My Athlete'. Click on that and then follow the directions.

Once you have done your registration (it will show as incomplete) THEN you can see Kim Peterson and pay your fee and we will get your registration done!! Thanks so much!!

Nice work at the Salt Lake ReAl Halftime Performance last weekend!!  Hope everyone got some much needed rest and that you are all geared up for a very busy week.  We need lots of smiling, respect, and happiness all around us.

What to wear to Future Rockettes:

Hair slicked straight back in the middle of the head straight pony tail. Wear elastics that match the color of your hair. Remember...No jewelry.

Wear your team sneakers...But...You can teach the routines bare footed on the grass, if you'd like.

REAL DAY!

-Roll Call 5:45 A.M. at the high school parking lot A.M.

-Wear black bums, black sports top, tan bra, sweats, hoodie, team shoes. Hair slicked into a middle of the head straight ponytail with matching elastics.

-Pack for performance...Black Dance Pants, Black Tights, Black Shoes, Tan Bra, Hair Net, Bobby Pins, Elastics, Makeup, Red Lipstick, Water Bottle.

-Make sure that your name is on your water bottle!! We can only bring one bag per team into the stadium that has water bottles and lipstick in it.

-Make sure to pack lots of snacks and pack money for food and shopping (if you want to).

-Schedule: (drivers.....read carefully)

*7:30-9:30 A.M. Field Practice at Jordan High.

*9:30 A.M. - Drivers take us to REAL Stadium.

*10-11:30 A.M. - Practice at REAL Stadium

*11:30-5:00 P.M. - Break...For food, shopping, etc.

*5:00-7:00 P.M. - Meet back at Jordan High to get ready for the performance, etc.

*7:00 P.M. - Transportation takes us back to the REAL Stadium. - Spectators may enter the stadium at 6:30 P.M. - The game starts at 7:30 P.M. and Half - Time is around 8:15 P.M. 

Its gonna be real at REAL!! xo.

Football Half Times

Check the side of the blog for performance dates!!

Cheer will be doing the first half time on August 23rd. Its the endowment game (where everyone has to pay) and they would like to perform their mini cheer routine.

Our  first half time will be September 6. (Peach Days)  We will be performing our REAL routine with Bear River.
They will be coming in to practice with us on Thursday September 5 @ 8:00 P.M. on the football field - like we did with them last year.  We will have roll call at 7:45 P.M.  ***Madison...I just now realized that this is Kinsey's wedding, so you will of course be excused!!

Dance Routine Audition Results

We are so proud of each and every one of you and the growth we are already seeing. We love you all and are so excited to get going again!!

Please remember that phone calls, emails, texts, etc. about audition results will not be taken.  The auditioning of competition routines was explained at a parents meeting before you tried out for Rockettes.  Your coaches would love to talk to you individually about the things that you need to work on.

*Reminder...We are not planning on auditioning Military and Character at this point :) Yay!!
Lyrical will for sure be auditioned.  We haven't decided whether or not we will audition Hip Hop.  We are really going to try not to.

What I Wear While I Am Doing Work At Drill Camp!!

-Bring running sneakers for morning workouts!!

-You will wear your gray sweatshirt and black sweat pants when we meet Monday morning and when we meet each morning up there. 

-Each day your hair will be in a middle of the head straight ponytail.  It is MANDATORY that your eleastics match your hair.

-Sweats and sneakers will be worn for hip hop classes only on the day we wear dance shorts...On the days we wear leggings, we will not be wearing our sweats over for hip hop - we will just be putting our sneakers on.  Make sure to pack BLACK socks to wear with sneakers.

-Team tan bras will be worn each day!!

-Team back packs will be used to carry stuff in each day.  Pack them wisely.

*Monday - Raspberry (purple) dance top, black dance pants (no underwear or thongs only with jazz pants), black dance shoes.  You will wear you sweats and new sneakers over the top.

*Tuesday - Coral dance top, black dance shorts (you may wear underwear with these, but choose wisely), black dance shoes.  Sweats and team sneakers.

*Wednesday - Yellow dance top, black dance pants, (same underwear rule), black dance shoes.  Sweats and team sneakers.

Clothing Costs

*I am hoping to have to costs of the practice uniforms, sweats, back packs, etc. of  items we will be getting in time for camp by the end of the week.   I will keep you posted.  Make sure you're participating in the Garage Sale :)

**If you are new to the team and would like a rolling duffle bag with your name embroidered, I need to know by Wedneday.  They are very nice to have, but completely optional!! The cost for these bags is $60.00.

***3-4 of the items we will be getting and the warms ups for the new team members will not be due until August.  I am trying to divide out some of the costs as much as I can.  I will do my best to keep you posted!!

Practices...

*We will not have practice on Saturday January 18th, but we will have practice on Presidents Day...It is the week of Region. We will practice from 7-10 and possibly til...that will be determined at a later date.
