Please get your posters done and hung up as soon as possible! Thanks and love you! Be ready to come to practice and learn tons.......if we can EVER get the band music. We have checked every single day!!!!! You are all going to have to be on your toes!

Hip Hop Clinic

Wednesday September 1 will be our first day for hip hop. This will be a fun class for everyone.
Our coreographer will be coming up and teaching a section to audition for that routine.
It is a good experience to work with different coreographers and a new perspective.
We will practice from 3:45-5:30 that day at Infinity Dance.

Audition Results.......

Please remember that coaches will not take calls over audition results. We know that this can be difficult. We love you all and each member of our team is a vital part of our team! Eighteen hearts will march out onto the competition floor even if there aren't that many bodies. Keep working and improving, you never know when we will need an alternate........

Remember that we are always willing to add dancers into routines when there is significant improvement, work ethic, and it is possible with the routine.

School Practices.....

-We will not have practice on the first day of school.

After that we will practice -

-Monday, Tuesday, Wedensday, and Friday after school.
-Friday before school.
-Every available Saturday.......

*If we need to add in a few more mornings to get things accomplished, we will......

-In September will be practice at the Natatorium Monday, Wednesday, and Friday after school.
Tuesday after school will be at Mt. View. Friday mornings in the big gym. THURSDAY will be our day off.

-For September.....we will practice 3:15 - 5:00 P.M. after school - 6:00-7:15 A.M. before school -
7:00-10:00 A.M. on Saturdays.

-Be aware that additional practices may be called or times may change to accomidate certain occasions.

-After September....we will practice until 5:30 after school on Mondays.

Checking In......

* I am hoping to have all of th Future Rockette packets to you on Friday....we have had difficulty getting locations, etc. worked out.
- Please have your 5 girls lined up now......5 are mandatory.....you can get more.
-Performance is Friday September 10.

*Great Job at auditions EVERYONE......we will post results over the weekend. We are proud of each and everyone of you! Parents PLEASE remember.......Brandi and Dani will nottake calls or discuss audition results. We will sit down with girls that are in routines, and girls that are not and will go over things they need to be working and improving on. AUDITIONING competition routines is discussed at the Rockette parents meeting and is part of the sport of drill team. We compete as a varsity sport :) We understand that audition results can initially be difficult.....in the end we are one team and its about the team. Hugs to everyone!

*Still Working on a day for rescheduling pictures.

*We will be ordering the black jazz shoes and tights that we will be using for the year in September. They will be $35.00.

*I will post the information for the tan shoes and tights we will be getting and you will be in charge of getting those.

*You may use your old black shoes that you are currently using for field performances.

See You In The Morning.....

So, due to floors being refinished in gyms.....I had scheduled Mt. View for August. The staff there wasn't aware that the gym would be used as a storage area. They have talked to the district and they should have it cleared out by the end of the week. They weren't sure if it would be cleared out by tomorrow and informed me today that is has not been. We have scrambled today trying to find a last minute place to practice (on a Sunday evening) that would fit our team. So, we will be practicing at Infinity. We are still working on other school locations. August is a hard month with schools trying to get ready for school to start again.

We will not be running the track this week because we have so much to do.
