Dues, Sweatshirt, Shoes.......

Just a reminder......August monthly dues are now PAST DUE! Turn them in ASAP.
September dues are coming up very soon. Remember that monthly dues are due the first practice of each month.

Some of you have paid your sweatshirt and team sneaker money already. Thank You!

If you have not, that money is Due! (refer to your note from auditions or your note from June)

*$21.00 due for your sweatshirt
*$60.00 due for your sneakers

Sneakers have been ordered and we will be wearing them in the peach days parade!!!! Hugs!

COMPETITION DATES

I have a few competition dates. I will post the information that I have as I get it!

*December 11 & 12 - Northridge High
(soloists on the 11th & team on the 12th)

*December 18 & 19 - Jordan High
(we sleep over at this comp./ 1st hotel fee $25.00...usually soloists & officers on the 18th)

I have not registered for these yet, but these are the competitions that have gotten their information out and I am planning on attending. I have not received information on the Clearfield-January Competition yet.

Peach Queen Pageant

I have not received a phone call about this yet, but I usually do every year just before the pageant!

Each year they ask the Rockettes to serve as ushers during the pageant. Plan on this.....I am sure that I will get the call. If we are asked to do this, it will be mandatory and involve all team members.

*You will need to wear a black skirt that is capri length or longer & and a nice white shirt. Dress it up with cute black, white, and purple jewelry.

SEPTEMBER practices

*We will be practicing on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday after school during September.
That means that there will not be practice on Mondays during this month. We will also not hold practice on the Friday of Peach Days!

*If we do practice on a Saturday for the month, it will be on Saturday the 26th!

*Saturday Practices are from 7:00-10:00 A.M.

*Tuesday - Friday morning @ 6:00 A.M. in the big gym! Yay!

*****We will practice after school at the natatorium during the month of September*****

TENATIVE Future Rockette Dates

I am still waiting to hear back on the coordination of Future Rockettes. It has been a little tricky with everything going on at the school.

These are the tenative dates and times. I will let you know when they are set in stone!

-Wed. Sept. 16 4:30-5:00 Registration for those not pre-registered with a team member
-Wed. Sept. 16 5:00-6:30 P.M. (Soccer Field)
-Thurs. Sept. 17 5:00-6:30 P.M. (Soccer Field)
-Tues. Sept. 22 5:00-6:30 P.M. (Football Field)

*Roll Call will be at 4:00 on the 16th and 4:30 on the 17th and 22nd.

**Every Clinic is absolutley mandatory by every girl on the team :)

***Moms helping will need to be there early with the team. Moms that help at registration will need to bring a folding table, a chair, and a poster with your assigned ages that you will be signing up....ages 3-5 / ages 6-8 / ages 9 & up

WELCOME DANIELLE

Welcome to Danielle Smith Carr! She will be working as an assistant coach for our team. She will be a great member of our team and another "key" to our success! She was a member of Rockettes and has a great love for this team and this program. We are thrilled to have her on board!

UPDATE

-Don't forget to bring your August Dues and any other money that you owe to your first practice on August 17!

-Roll call at the nat and then over to the track!

-Hello Assembly is September 4!

-Future Rockettes will be on September 25th and Homecoming on October 9!
(Those dates are just switched around)

-On August 20 after the Mother/Daughter party, we will be heading over to the bowling alley to support the Cheer Leaders in a back to school gig!
